Okay, you're going to need to figure out what application uses that particular file

First of all, try running a search for the file. If it finds it, right click on the file and go to properties. Hopefully it should tell you which program it is associated with
If that fails, you'll have to take more drastic action. First, you know that it has to be one of the programs that's set to run on Windows startup. Do you remember any programs that used to run on startup but have recently disappeared? If so, that's the culprit. If you don't, you have to manually check which programs are supposed to start up with your computer

Restart your computer, wait for the message and then DO NOTHING ELSE

Look here: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs. Keep that window open and hit ctrl-alt-delete. Check to see if any of the programs there are NOT running. If one isn't, it's the broken one

If that doesn't work, you'll need to check your registry. Now, don't go poking around in here - click start, hit run, and type regedit. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Ru

Now, this is a little tricky. Look for some application in there that doesn't seem to be part of your main system or peripherals that doesn't boot on startup. That's probably the culprit. The problem is that a lot of these program run things like the keyboard, and terminate right after bootup. The BEST way to know which one is causing the problem is that it in the Task Manager it should be listed for your userID, not SYSTEM
