Opening programs for digital camera

I have a Nikon Coolpix2000 camera, and I decided to reprogram my computer and added all the needed programs for my camera as before. Well when plugging in my camera and trying to transfer my photos to my computer it doesn't open a program like it use to before I redid my computer, it just opens a folder. How can I make it open in a program, or atleast choose a program every time I plug in my camera and transfer? I've tried everything and nothing seems to work.
 
No need of programs I think. I use a fuji cam and when I
plug it, a folder opens. I go in several folders until I
find some picture files. Then I copy them and paste them
to my destination folder. That's it ! Then Plug my cam
off.
