I have an issue where the company would like to monitor
emails. I have every employee set up with Outlook 2003.
We are using Exchange 2003 and I access their email with
outlook using the Microsoft Exchange Server. I then set
up a pop3 account for the manager for that employee. My
problem is when the employee gets a message and deletes
it right away the pop3 account never sees that message.
If I set both manager and employee as pop3 and set the do
not delete for x number of days then they both get it.
We would like to use the exchange mail for the extra
features. Is what we want to do even possible? Thanks
for the help.

You could make the manager an alternate recipient of the
employees mail - then setup a rule in his Outlook to move
messages intended for the employees to their own folders.
You could also turn on journaling and have copies of
everything that enters and leaves your Exchange server -
this option means more DASD, though.

Hope this helps,
Sue
