HELP! My MS Outlook (not Outlook Express) opens up ok but
when I try to open any email (old or new)I get the error
message "Microsoft Outlook has encountered a problem and
needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." If
I right click on any email I get "The required file
IMM32.dll cannot be found in your path, please reinstall
Microsoft Outlook."
I cant find any reference to this file IMM32.dll in MS
Support.
Is there any other options to reinstalling? I cant use
the 'repair' option..it says to use the CD. My question
is which CD is it on? I have no specific CD for MS
Outlook..do I have to reinstall the Operating System CD
for Windows XP? How will this effect all my current files
and all my saved emails in Outlook? Do I need to save
everything to backup CD and start from scratch just to
fix my Outlook? Everything else seems to be functioning
ok. By the way ..this all occured after a 'SpyWare" pop
up interferred with my internet pages. I resolved this
problem with Ad-Aware SE which I would reccomend to any
one and its free. SpyBot Search and Destroy did not
resolve my problems.
Hope some one here can help resolve this problem!
Thanks!
