I have made my yahoo email account my default in outlook on my computer.
Now, if I have opened an email in outlook, it no longer shows up when I log
in to yahoo on a remote computer ? How can I fix this?
Thank you.

Choose the option in OL to leave a copy on the server
PS This group is for Windows Mail, OL has its own groups

We don't normally support Outlook in this newsgroup which is primarily
for the Windows Mail program. But the general idea is the same for all
email programs, find the setting that leaves a copy of the message on the
server. By default, POP accounts will delete a successfully downloaded
message from the server.

For Outlook support, go to the following newsgroup:
microsoft.public.outlook.general

oops. I meant windows mail , not outlook.
Where do I find the option to 'leave a copy on the server?
Does this have anything to do with synchronizing ??
THANK YOU very much.

Go to Tools, Accounts, select that mail account, Properties,
Advanced. In the Delivery section enable the option "Leave a
copy of messages on server." Also, you may want to select one
or both associated 'remove' options in order to avoid excessive
accumulation of old messages on the server.

THANK YOU so very much !!
