Opening Documents

Hello to all. I'm wondering if I can get some advise. A friend emailed us a
document, and at the end of the name of the document is says: .pub
I'm guessing that's a format of some sorts. I can't seem to figure out how
to open it. I got a message saying I was missing something to be able to
open it but I can't seem to find what I'm looking for. Is there anyone who
knows what I need to do?

It needs MS Publisher.
Get your friend to send it in a form that you can read.

This is an MS Publisher file. I don't know any way to view Publisher
files without having the program installed, but perhaps the experts in
the Publisher newsgroup will so you might post there -
microsoft.public.publisher
