Is there a way to allow the opening of attachments in Outlook? OE allows it
but I had to change a setting. I can not find a similar setting in Outlook.
I would like to use Outlook as my default email client but if I can't open
attachments, I won't be able to.

I am especially fond of Attachment Options is a COM add-in
by Outlook MVP Ken Slovak that adds an Attachment Security
Options page to the Tools | Options dialog in Outlook 2002
to allow you to manage which file attachments are blocked.

Thanks for the info on that! I seem to have run into another problem-
While importing my messages from OE, the process stopped at 200 messages. I
have way more than that and am wondering if there is a limit on the number
of messages you can import. Is there some configuration option that lets me
decide how large my personal folders can be and how many messages they hold?

OLK - PST Limitations (Outlook 2002 and below)

File Size: 2GB max (reads about 1.92GB in Explorer)

Large Table Support not Enabled (Default)
* 16,000 folders
* 16,000 items per folder

Large Table Support Enabled
* 65,000 folders
* 65,000 items per folder

To enable Large Table support, right click on Personal Folders
and select properties. Select Advanced. Check the box to
enable large table support and select OK until you return to
the main window.
