Hi,
When opening a excel 2003 file (even saving it as 97 2000, 2003 compatible),
in excel 97 , and later saving it to 97 format, a message box appears saying
that if i click yes some info will be lost.
I would like to know if that info that will be lost, could be critical (like
macros, formulas, etc). If it is so, is there any way to avoid it?

I'm not "positive" about 2003 but with 2002 you should just save as a
regular file as you would for use in 2002. Some features may NOT be backward
compatible. Try saving as a different name.

There's a good Help Topic named Using Excel 2003 with earlier versions of
Excel. I bet that will answer most of your questions.
