Opening a window via a link: want full size

For some reason I'm not aware of, whenever I open a new
window in IE 6 by clicking a link, that new window comes
up roughly 60% of the screen height, but at full screen
width. How do I configure IE 6 to always yield a full
screen window, especially when clicking on a link?
 
Hi,
Drag that 2nd window out to the desired size- don't use maximize. Close the
first window then close the 2nd window.

Don't use the maximize button. Instead, drag the edges to the screen
boarder. Then close the window and the next window should open to that last
size.
