theme is really intended) The hats take up alot of room so it would be nice
to get some smaller items inside. The road to the parking area is called
Martins Landing Road...It is accessed from county rd. 23 (Whiskey Road) It

first visit since I was not willing to get my feet wet......I made it to
where I think cache is/should be since I waited for the ground to freeze. I'm
pretty sure that the cache is frozen in it's hiding place. (if it's at
ground level like I think it is) When I move swamp grass around all I see is
frozen ice

2nd Ave SW.
You can hike, bike, ski, canoe or boat to this one depending upon your
preference and the season. This cache is near the south end of the park.
Stay on trails to avoid going onto private property to the West. There are
now some benches in the park and one of them is 0.5 mi from the cache. The
further you go into the park the less maintenance so it wouldn’t hurt to
bring mosquito repellant. At about 0.42 mi from the cache the trails split
to make a loop. You could go in one way and out the other. To the left is a
nice stroll in an open meadow along the river. On the trail to the right
you get to view a number of oxbows, big and

don’t stray unto private property. Walk, bike or ski? Parts of these trails
are in a Flood Plain. Use caution if flooded and if there is moving water

are sensitive to erosion so choose your paths wisely.
The first location is right on a ski trail. The second is near a single
file primitive trail.
Some classes at the college have put out some signs in the park that
describe some of the natural history and geology of the area. Interesting
but I’m not sure that I agree with all of it.
I wouldn’t recommend parking at the college until after the construction is
completed. You can park at the City Park on the east side of the

I can't beleve that this cache hasn't been found more times. Well maybe this
will be an insentive. We placed the Prime Meridian geocoin in the cache!
This is definetly worth the 1.5mi hike. I hope more people will take the
