Hello All,

It seems like this should be a fairly popular question but I can't seem to
find anything on it in the posts...

I have a form in Access 2000 and I built the accompanying report in Word
2000 as a mail merge form letter. I'd like to create a command button that
will launch the Word document and move to the record displayed in Access when
the command was executed. Also, I'd like for Access to assume that the Word
document will be located in the same folder as the .mdb file.

Both the Word document and Access file were created in Office 2000, however,
the end users will be running Office 2003. I know there are differences in
the underlying defaults for mail merge (i.e. DDE vs. OLE-DB), so if possible
I'd like to use whatever is the default method for 2003 if that will help
ensure a smooth transition.

Many thanks,

Wow! Hats off to Albert Kallal! His "Super Easy Word Merge" code solved
every part of my long winded question and only required an import, a command
button and one line of code. I'm sure it'll get a ton of use around the
office.

Thanks for the tip Mikal. I really appreciate all of you who hang out here
making life easier for hacks like me!
