At home, I am using Windows XP Home (with all latest patches, no viruses),
and have the ability to leave a folder open when I turn off the computer.
Upon startup, the folder shows up again, open on the desktop, making it
handy to remember where I was the last session.
At work, I am using Windows XP Pro (with all latest patches, no viruses),
but this will not work.
Upon startup, the open folder shows up briefly, but then dissapears.
Is there any way to convince Windows to keep the folder open upon startup?
