Open Exclusively

I need to open a database with exclusive rights by using the bypass key
(shift and open). I cannot do this as the database is password protected. The
menu options have been turned off, therefore the tools option is not there so
I cannot remove the password. I cannot open this database in design view as
it is. How can I restore the toolbar menu options?

You have posted this question to a Word newsgroup. I suspect it may be more
effective to post to a newsgroup that deals with the relevant database
program (eg Access, SQL Server, whatever).

You need to ask this in a group relevant to your software product
(Access?). You've posted this question in a group specializing in
Microsoft WORD.
