I would like to be able to store a color value in an Access 2K2 table for
use in Excel charts. For instance, Access will have a color stored in a
table of brands for use in charts displaying sales of that brand. The
ultimate goal is to automate the generation of excel worksheets for each new
month. (I imagine that Excel templates can go a long way down this road, but
I'd like it to be flexible enough to handle new brands.)

I'd think that an easy way to enter a color into this table would be to open
the form that does this job (the one where you directly select color, fill,
etc.) and get the returned value(s) much as an ActiveX calendar control or
the Open/Save File window. Is there a function for doing this?

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Yes, that looks like something I can use (and a lot more besides). That's a
great reference to keep bookmarked. Thanks for the help.
