recently i heard about the worm going around so i went to
msn.com and as a novice i thought i initiated a
firewall. then i was told having reading some msn
feedback to purchase mcafee firewall, etc. all i want to
know is can someone help me keep mcafee in place but
allow me to play chess on zone.msn.com. After all this i
am unable to log on which i think has to do with
something related to this. Can you help a novice?

Hello!
it doesn't matter whether it is Mcafee firewall or Norton
Internet Security or Zone alarm ; you have to configure the
respective firewall to allow you to play.
By the by XP has in built firewall.If it is not yet enabled
enable it.
