Just wondering who plays online game here, and which ones?

I play :

  • Tribes 2
  • BattleZone II
  • Global Operations
  • Empire Earth
  • Rogue Spear

Most of those are only in the last few days after seeing them again at a friends house, and bringing back memories!
 
Haven't been playing much these days, but I'll pick up Warcraft III when it's released and I'm sure I'll be playing that for some time to come. I used to play the 2nd one every day after school in 1995. Me and a friend of mine used to play by modem (no, not TCP/IP, modem). You'd call up the other person's phone number and they'd set their modem on receive (for those of you too young to remember). That way our 20 hours a month of internet weren't used up. ;)
 
I currently play
  • Anarchy Online
  • Neverwinter Nights
  • Delta Force (only cos me m8's think it is the mutts nutts - i think it is crap)
  • Counter-Strike (run a clan board so feel inclined to play sometimes)
  • Anything else fresh and interesting that I can get my hands on from work :)

Just hoping a decent fix for GP4 comes out cos when there is a slow system playing it the other systems are dragged down and laggs it out

Really poor at all of them but good fun anyway, you know.

I haven't played Joint ops:Typhoon Rising, whats it like? Is it a "Medal of Honor" sort of game?
 
Yeah, it is kind of.....first person affair with various Special Forces from around the world taking on Indonesian Rebels or something or other. What makes it slighty different (but not unique) is the fact you can pilot land, air and water vehicles, transport your team here and there and what have you. Quite good really......
 
I used to play Quake 3 arena, but the servers are just lag filled nowadays. So the only online game to grace my computer is Americas Army Online ;) .

UT2004.

That's it.

Thinking of trying Doom 3 and Painkiller online, but haven't got round to it yet.
 
Been hooked on America's Army for a while now.

That and Battlefield 1942 and all the accompanying mods.
 
the onslaught in UT2004 i sometimes play but nothing beats the custom assualt maps, the races and stuff, they just rock! UT2004 all the way. Shame reefy :'(

I've been playing E.V.E Online for about a year and a half now, but not so much these days, even though I still have my account!

I am planning on buying Dawn Of War, whats the online side of the game like Ian?

I haven't tried Online play yet, but I will let you know once I give it a go later this week :) I've played lots of Skirmish Games, but thats it so far!
 
Hey dudes, i had to post this.

I't a print screen of my mates current Americas Army Online session, just check out those hours played so far, its in the 1st colomn and is messured in hours :o. (hes still going as I speak).

I still play WarcraftIII when I get a chance. I would like to pick up World of Warecraft. Anybody hear any more about this game?
