ONECare - Backup "stalled" at 81% for 3 hrs

Bought, installed and activated this....no probs, but per subject, it seems
to have stopped during it's first Backup, to a DVD.

Of course, when I click cancel, it says it's still writing to disc are you
sure???

It's only about 3gb data.

Thoughts? Apart from "what did you expect"???...

Even stranger:

I aborted. The DVD drawer would not come out, so I had to manually do so
with the old paperclip. Then noticed my 2nd CD Drive was not being seen in
Computer.
Rebooted.
CD DRive back, but now NO DVD DRIVE.
Rebooted
Both CD and DVD Drives now all ok
AND

The DVD that I manually extrracted from the DVD Drive has my complete backup
on it, BUT OneCare still says DO A BACKUP!!!

Wierd...
 
Hmm, after the install did you reboot before doing the backup?

I've seen this happen in a couple of isolated incidences and it was almost
always after finishing the install and not rebooting.
 
All ok....bloody media itself was corrupt
