This laptop is used at two locations. Both location uses different IP
addresses for their networks. And both locations has an available Cat5 wire
to plug into the laptop, to access the network (no WiFi).
Isn't there a way to configure Win XP Pro to be able to access several
discreet networks? Without having to key in the IP/subnet/gateway etc. for
each location, each time you visit that location?
Thanks, Mark Flynn

I use an application called switcher which does this. You can set as
many locations as you want. Url is

On the laptop that I happened to have networked when I saw this post I had
one set for ICS on this connection and the other set for broadband direct
connections. It was a bit trickier than it probably seems but it works well
enough for me. Anyhow, as I'd been playing with it for the past few days I
figured that was what you were looking for.

I only came across it recently, seems to be excellent. I use it witgh
my wifi but I do have to setup the wifi as well manually but that is no
pain as I have just changed my own local network to a AP.
