One Domain or Multiple

I have 3 sites that are going to be connected as a WAN.

What is the consensus on single domains ? I was always taught it was best
to have separate domains for each site. Is this still the preferred method ?
What are the pros and cons for having a single domain across the WAN.

I am running native Win2000 servers, and Win98 clients that will be upgraded
to WinXP in the next 12mths. IP range for each LAN is 192.168.0.0 /
192.168.1.0 / 192.168.2.0

Thank you

Regards, James

Not anymore. 1 Domain, with multiple Sites. Each Site is separated by a
WAN link. Active Directory will sense the slow Link between the Site and
behave accordingly.

IP Ranges and Subnet mean nothing to Active Directory. If you have
connectivity, then you have connectivity,...it doesn't matter if a router is
crossed or not.
