Once there was a macro

Actually, there was some VB code in this template. I was fooling around with
trying to get something to work, actually got it to work, and then came to
realize that doesn't fly with all the Mac users around here.

So I deleted all that and started on a different (more bizarre, less
functional, user-training-dependent) solution.

Problem is now, any time the template is opened it warns, there be Macros
h'yere, arrrgghh.

There are not. Can I make it believe there are not so I do not have to
re-create this whole thing from scratch again?

Open the template and save the template as a template without macros. In
Word 2007 this means saving it as "Word Template (*.dotx)" rather than a
"Word Macro-Enabled Template (*.dotm)".

Thanks for the reply but I have only saved the file as either a .dot or a
..dotx file.

Did you try copying the text of the whole template EXCEPT the very last
paragraph mark and pasting it into a clean Word window, then saving it as a
new template?? Sometimes that will shake loose left-over codes that you
don't want in your document.
