once i open a message in outlook it dissapears from inbox

When i recieve email if i open the message then go to another folder like
sent items when i go back to my inbox the opened message dissapears if i do a
search for it it shows it in the in box but dissapears again when i leave
inbox

Check your View settings.
View-Current View
