on screen keyboard

Would someone PLEASE tell me how to keep the keyboard
from popping up on the screen everytime I start my
computer. It is really a nuisance and I don't use it. I
don't know what I did to get it to come on, but now I
want it off and I don't know what to do. HELP?

Unplug the keyboard.

Use Windows Key + U to bring up the Utility Manager. Select the line for
Onscreen Keyboard. Adjust the settings. Click OK.
