On Exit Event Procedure Not Executing

I have an event procedure to create a date to be updated to a hidden field on
a form. I've associated the procedure with the On Exit event. It suddenly
quit working after months of successful execution. If I cut and paste the
event procedure from the On Exit event to the Got Focus event and make the
field visible it works just fine. If I move it back to teh On Exit event,
the field does not get updated.

Does anyone have any ideas regarding why it suddenly stopped working and how
to get it to work again?
