Omegfa 5.7 Catalyst Drivers, x800xt platinum AGP ... bad desktop performance on game exit

Hi,
Im getting a problem after playing World of Warcraft on my rig
amd 4000+
x800 xt platinum AGP
2gb RAM
2x74gb SATA 10k RPM drives

The desktop video all of a sudden starts being slow ... windows take a
noticeable time to minimize etc. It seems to be mostly ok if i disable
windowsfx, but its still a little slugish. If i restart the display
driver in ATI Tray tools, everything works perfectly.
Is this a bug with the drivers or what? Should i change my version?
 
Looks like a bug. If you run DXDiag right after game exit, does it still
report desktop video acceleration to be enabled?
