HELP! ever since i got win XP pro i have been extremely
happy with it, recently i had a few Hard Drive problems
and corrupt windows system files which has never happened
before. so i did a new install of XP Pro, thinking that
as with WIN ME, the system files etc will all be freshly
installed, but my five user accounts will remain. My
problem is this: at the end of the XP Pro installation, i
was asked to setup the user accounts, so i simply put in
the ones i had before, (i'll make it known that my old
user account had a password on it). when i booted into
windows via the welcome screen and my username, they were
all new, blank user accounts, and when i went into the
C:\document and settings\etc to my old user folder, i
found that it said "Access Denied", similar to if another
user tried to access it on the old installation, now, i
know my password, but i have found no way of getting into
my old user folder with all of my things in it. i really,
really need to get back into it somehow. Any help from
anyone will be VERY MUCH appreciated, thanks - Dylan
