Old XP program will no longer install

Hello

I have an old program on a CD that I have used in the past with various
versions of XP (Family and Pro, SP1 and SP2)

But since I have got my new computer and set up Windows XP, this program
will no longer install.

I get a window saying System Error -1,1,218.

I've tried copying it to the computer and then installing and a window said
that it wasn't a licenced version.

But I did buy it in a computer shop and I have never had a problem before.

What could be blocking the installation of this software please?

Well DOH! Likely a driver problem, but without the name of the program, how
in the world do you expect us to help.
