Old Profiles

I just did a reinstall of Windows XP and after the reinstall all the old profiles for user accounts became unaccessable, I kept getting an "access denied not enough privledges" or something like that every time I tried to get the old documents out of the old profiles. I'm doing this as administrator any ideas?

See if the instructions in this MSKB article, for taking ownership of a file
or folder, helps you gain access to the files/folders in the old profiles'
folders:
