.DRW files would be from an old DOS version of Freelance. The Freelance import
feature of PowerPoint only works with Windows Freelance files (.PRE)

Current versions of Freelance for Windows are inexpensive and will open
Freelance DRW files. Your best bet is probably to buy FL, import your DRW
files into it, then save from it as PowerPoint (which it'll also do).

I have FL on one of the computers here. If you'd like to email me a couple of
your DRW files to convert as a test, I'd be happy to try it out for you.
