old e-mail

I just did a clean install of Windows XP. I had saved my
Identity folder from the previous set-up but now I can't
seem to transfer my old e-mail messages (and I know I have
done this in the past, just saved the .dbx files). What's
the best way to recover this info (which is very
important). Thanks

Thanks - I think I fould the problem (.dbx file set as
read only).
