There are some websites that sell office password recovery tools but these
are not supported or endorsed by Microsoft.
Try googling for office password recovery. Don't bother downloading a trial
version as most of these only crack passwords of three characters or less.
You have to buy one, and they are not cheap - nor should they be - they
represent a great deal of intellectual property and programming time.
Bear in mind that most of the Office password crackers are brute force
crackers, i.e. they try every available combination until they find the one
that opens the document. (I once used a cracker tool at work and it took
nearly 3 days to break a password of 26 characters, which apparently is
quite quick - most people tend to use passwords of 10 characters or less.)
It might be cheaper to get a print out of your document scanned at your
local Kinkos!
