Greetings! Have a home installation of Outlook 98 that was successfully
connecting to a work Exchange server until recently, then stopped working.
Outlook at startup first stopped with "Unable to open information store"
message. Determined that the OST file path was not as previously set, so
changed it (back) to the one desired and re-created an OST file.
Then connected to the server, but now Outlook startup stops with "You must
connect to your Microsoft Exchange server computer with the current profile
before you can synchronize your folders with your offline folder file."
When the profile was created, it was specified that this computer does not
travel, and it is configured to not "enable offline use".
Any ideas will be appreciated.
Thanks,
George
