OL2003 Find or Advanced Find doesnt work

Ive upgraded from OLXP to 2003. Now the Find nor the Advanced Find feature
doesnt work at all. A search even for the most obvious word has the
program searching forever. Ive seen other post here for this problem over
the past several months but no answer for OL2003 Can anyone help or make a
suggestion?

are you using the profile you used with outlook 2002? if so, make a new
profile and see if it helps.

Try creating new mail profile here: Control Panel->Mail Icon->Show
Profiles->New.
