When I receive new emails in an IMAP folder, the date/time of receipt is
correct. then, when I click on the email t oread it, the date changes
date/time changes to GMT ... Is there anyway t ohave Outlook leave the date
as received?

Are you sure that the date the message arrived at the server isn't being
displayed?

Thanks for replying.

Interesting question. In looking at the headers I see all the "received:"
headers having GMT but the "Date:" header has the correct local time of the
sender.

So it seems that Outlook is initially displaying the "date:" header, then
when I read the email the last date from the server is being dislpayed.

I am confused as to why it would do this....
