Is there a way for the autocorrect spellcheck in
outlook2003 to work without having word2003 (we have
wordxp)? Thank-you

Hi,

I do not think that is possible as you need to have Word 2003 as the default
email editor and also the option of the Auto Correct works only when you
have Word 2003.

Hope this helps !!!

Yes. I just tested this. Use the Outlook Editor as your default editor.
It autocorrects spelling just fine. For example, I have checked the
"Correct TWo INitial CApitals" option and when I type "FIle", it gets
automatically corrected to "File".

Brian.Tillman is the name, smiths-aerospace.com is the domain.

I don't speak for Smiths, and Smiths doesn't speak for me.

What format is your email message (plain, RTF or HTML)

HTML doesn't autocorrect caps for me and none autocorrect spelling even though both are selected.

I never use anything by Plain Text. HTML adds size to a message without
adding value or information.
