OL2000 unable to receive email when PocketPC docked

Hello,

Has anybody had this problem? We have a computer running WinXP SP2,
with Outlook 2000 (not OE). It has ActiveSync 4.1 installed on it. To
it, there is a USB cradle charger. The client has a Audiovox XV6700
phone. While the PDA PocketPC phone is connected to the USB (not
synchronizing either, just sitting there), they cannot send/receive
messages on their destop PC using Outlook.

Is there any fix for this? It is kind of annoying.
