I am trying to get OL 2003 to send a fax with 2 pdf files attached.
It opens up Acrobat writer, and then stops (it doesn't close Acrobat after converting to fax format).
So when trying to send 2 pdf's in one fax OL hangs.
1 PDF works(!).

Does anyone know how to deal with this?

No. Outlook 2003 can send other attachment types just fine, so I suspect the
problem is with the print routine in Acrobat. BTW, you did not specify your
fax software. Rendering is performed by the software in which a document is
created, not Outlook and not fax.

We installed SBS with Exchange server 2003 out of the box. Which fax software is it then (Symantec?)
Attaching tif or mdi files gives a message: unknown attachment
Where can I change settings for the faxserver?

thanks for your help,
Frans

Only you can determine which fax software you installed as the client for
SBS server.
For most fax software, faxing an attachment requires that a printto verb be
defined for the file type you are trying to send.
