Okidata printers

My company is having problems with our okidata dot matrix
printers networking with Windows XP Pro. My computer
programmer claims that the drivers are not available and
that Okidata is not compatable with Windows XP Pro.

And have you actually bothered to visit Okidata's website for information?

If there is nothing there or on the XP CD:

It is usual for Okidata printers to "emulate" one of the Epson printers.
Check the manual. There might be DIP switch settings that have to be changed
in the printer or by way of front panel buttons. If you could provide
information about the printer model you have, perhaps someone could suggest
a suitable driver.
