Oid of record and hard reset

When you hard reset a pda and resync with Outlook on the desktop will
the Oid of the record be the SAME as it was orginal on the pda before
the hard reset or will it generate a new Oid.
 
Oids will be automatically generated by Windows CE as new records are added
to the databases and will not persist across a hard reset. As such there is
no persistent unique identifier on Pocket Outlook (Desktop Outlook Guids are
retained in backup and restores) so you must rely on a combination of
properties to determine the uniqueness of an item if your database is
cleared.
