Do you know which software reads OGG files? Are these files like ZIP files,
for archiving? Thanks

..OGG files are Music files. No need to uncompress.

Winamp, and many other music players will play them.

Ogg is another music file format. My own experience indicates it basically
comes from the Linux side of things and there's minimal support for it under
Windows, e.g. need 3rd party whatever. I also was unsuccessful in having any
of the software Google found for converting to mp3 etc. work. However I have
found Nero's WaveEditor program can load, play and convert them.

Thanks for the info, but I'm someone who answered, not the person who
asked. In the future, please reply to the correct message/person.

If you install Radlight Directshow filter, WMP 11 will play ogg files (it
does on my system, XP SP2).
