Im trying to find a product which works like WinXP Offline Files, but works
"smarter".
Im wanting the product to beable to work in an "online" state, but when the
application realises that the file that is present on the workstation is the
same as available on the network, then to use the localised version of it
(ie the cached version) thus performance will be quicker if opening a large
file over a small network link (128Kbits as is the case of my client)
Alternatively, a product which works in an offline state for a users home
drive (assigned through ADUC) and then perform synchronisations throughout
the day for delta information - something, anything
I am about to look at products from the below
http://www.softwarepursuits.com/suresync/suresync.htm?source=Google
http://www.peersoftware.com
But obviously any previous experience with something would be appreciated
Cheers
