There are no drivers listed in Windows XP for the HP Officejet D135. I downloaded the 200 mb disk with drivers that comes with the printer, but XP still cannot find them on my new Toshiba Satellite, though I had no trouble with my Dell Desktop.
 
Download the driver of your printer that is XP compatible at HP web site,
[made for XP]. Be sure your printer is disconnected when you load the
driver after that then connect the printer to computer.
