Office XP's Word version?

Was in CompUSA tonight and saw a Microsoft
software bundle package entitled Office XP. It
included Word and Excel.

This is probably a stupid question but what version of
Word comes in the Office XP box? Is there really
a Word XP version for the masses, or is it Word 2003
dressed up as something special for XP systems?

The only stand-alone Word packages (full and update)
at the store were 2003. Ditto for stand-alone Excel.
 
Office XP (including Word XP -- Excel XP etc) were the previous release...
officially Word 2002 or Excel 2002. It's just the "old" version.
