Today I bought the subject software. When I tried to
install it I got the following: Error 25506 - Microsoft
Office XP requires updated system files not detected on
your computer. You must install the system files update
prior to installing office.
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\ASYCFILT.DLL is version 2.40.4275.1 when
we require Version 2.40.4277.1

Any help?????

RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, run Oainst.exe from your Microsoft Office XP CD-ROM
to install the Asycfilt.dll file, and then run the Office Setup program
again. To do this, follow these steps:
Insert your CD-ROM for Microsoft Office XP. Hold down the SHIFT key to stop
Setup from automatically starting, or click Cancel when Setup runs.
Click Start, point to Programs, and then click Windows Explorer. In
Microsoft Windows NT, point to Programs and then to the Accessories folder,
and then click Windows Explorer.
Open your CD-ROM drive and navigate to the following folder:
drive\Files\Osp\1033\IE5\En
Double-click Oainst.exe. This installs the OLE automation update, which
includes the file Asycfilt.dll.
Run Office Setup again.
