unless change the setting in office03 and save the msg again since I have
hundred of files from my client already.

Please help!!

I don't really see a full question in your post... is there any way that you
can post your whole problem?

it it in a pst or just as a msg file? MSG files should open.

If it’s a pst, it needs converted to an ANSI pst Outlook 2002 can read. See
http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ansi-to-unicode.asp for tools which can
convert between pst formats.

I'm not familiar with that error message. If I try to open a message saved
as Unicode format (or drag and dropped to the desktop) I get a generic
interface error but it doesn't say the version is too low.
