Office uninstall

Hello there, I have one simple question. Do I loose my
emails and contacts if I uninstall office and reinstall.
I am getting some error when I click on hyperlink in word
or email. I went through help and some troubleshooting,
but I had no luck. If any of you know the answer please
shoot me an email. I appreciate you help. Thank you

No because they are not kept in the same place as the Office files....
BUT backup anyway just to be sure.....
