I was hoping for some ideas on how to fix my Office 2007. My Outlook looks
like it is in safe mode but it is not. All other applications are fine.
Only my Office 2007 does not look like it use to, such as Outlook or even
Word. The Office Button in Word (located in the upper left corner) has no
color at all. This is similar in Excel. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Is this a now expired trial version of Office 2007?

I am not aware of this being an expired trial version of Office 2007. A
laptop was purchased from Dell and it had Office 2007 on it. I received the
laptop three weeks ago. Thanks.

Unless you specifically paid for Office 2007, what you have is a trial
version. It should not be expired after only three weeks, so perhaps you
haven't activated it. Try Office Button | Word Options | Resources |
Activate Product.

Well, I would suggest Office Button | Word Options | Resources | Diagnose,
but if the Office Button is disabled, I can only suggest you try all of the
options in
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/ProbsOpeningWord.htm (an add-in would be
a likely suspect).
