Office 2003 Word

Why does Word 2003 hangs up so frequently? Computer has to be rebooted. Has anyone subjected to this torture and has any remedy for it
 
Most likely some corruption in your Normal.dot template. Rename it to
OldNormal.dot and then restart Word. If there were any customizations in
it, you can use Tools>Macros>Macro>Organizer to move them from the
OldNormal.dot (after opening that file) to the new one.
