My box running win2k bit the dust, I replaced it with
a box running xp, can i install the office 2000 pro
i added to my old box on my xp box?
i am sure this information is available on the ms web
site, but I sure could not find it.
 
Of course you can !
As long as the first machine you installed it upon is dead, you have the right to do so.

If you are asking if it will work then I would say yes since I loaded Office
97 on an XP machine, with no problems (except for the Office Shortcut bar
which I hate anyway - that seemed to crash XP when I used it so I just
uninstalled it).
