Does anyone have trouble with Office 2000 getting corrupted on Windows XP
Pro?
It seems to run fine for a while, and then Outlook (which I use a lot every
day - Calendar, Address Book, Folders, etc.) seems to get corrupted.
I do a back up of all my Outlook stuff by exporting out a .pst file, saved
on a spare physical drive. I went to launch Outlook this week, and received
an error message that it couldn't load my folders and settings. I was
forced to backup to a previously saved .pst file, which is a couple months
old now. I lossed a lot of stuff.
I've tried Outlook's Inbox Repair Tool, but it doesn't fix it.
What's happening to Outlook that it get's corrupted like this? I keep XP
updated, too, but I sure run into problems with Office 2000.
No, I don't have a virus, that McAfee can find. I keep McAfee updated, too.
Looks like I'm headed for another re-format and a clean install.
Thanks!
