Offer Remote Assistance Inconsistencies

I have Offer Remote Assistance configured and working in a corporate
environment. The problem I have is that it doesnt consistently
connnect to users machines. I have several instances where this error
pops up: "A Remote Assistance connection could not be established. You
may want to check for network issues or determine if the invitation
expired or was cancelled by the person who sent it"

The user never is solicited to accept the connection. When this
happens you have to retype in the PC name and attempt to connect again.
The second try usually works, but it is very annoying to have to
retype in the computer name and attempt to reconnect. Is there any
tuning that can be done to correct this problem?

Also tool performance is slow, even over our LAN. I believe our
network backbone is fast and dont have performance issues with other
applications.
